Our network providers won’t stop pulling off surprises, in a time where people are only trying to economize and cut-down down expenses, Airtel is just there…annoying and increasing what is supposed to be a life line for people who can’t afford the regular internet plans. Last night, it appeared that N50 Airtel Night Plan of 1.5GB has been changed to N200.

Airtel claimed the change in the price of TRYBE 2.0 night data were based on the new modifications made on the TRYBE 2.0 Data plans. OMG!!! Which one is “new modifications” again! It’s only in Nigeria you see things like this, no warning and no information passed out, they will just take action, then tell you one story or the other.

N50 Airtel Night Plan is now N200 and the data remains the same, meanwhile, the other night plan that gives 500MB still remains intact at N25. Now this is what I call wickedness! When the going was already getting sweet, Airtel just wickedly “pour sand inside our garri”.

Anyways, looking at the bright side of things, MTN Night Plan offers 500MB for N25, Etisalat Night Plan offers 1GB for N200, Glo offers 1GB for N200 and now Airtel 1.5GB now N200 or you stick with 500MB for N25. The ball is in your court depending on the fastest, stable and cheapest of the available plans in relation to network.
